The Bible teaches that we were created for relationship.

In the creation story, God says, "Let us create us humanity after our own image. In the image of God, God created humanity male and female."

Notice: God refers to Himself in the plural as "us". This is because the Godhead is comprised of three persons, the Father the Son and the Holy Spirit. These three are one. God is a trinity of persons. A community.

God created humans as a community of persons, too.

The story of Adam and Eve demonstrates how sin [bad choices] brings separation in our relationships with God and others.

There is no such thing as "private" sin. The Bible is clear that all sin has a corporate effect.

The Bible also teaches us that God became human in the person of Jesus Christ to bridge the gap of broken relationships that sin brings.

Jesus defeated death, through his resurrection from the death. Jesus overcame the consequence of sin which is death.
