 Reality? Not So Much
Dramas, Sci-Fi, and DVDs Do It For Me

Greetings, everyone! Although I've been writing for HJ for a wee
while now, I recently took the position of TV Editor. I'm really
enjoying it!
To be honest, I'm not much of a TV viewer, partly because of
time constraints and partly because I don't feel there is much on that
is worth the time. Reality shows clutter up channels these days, and
although a handful of them might be worthwhile, the rest give the genre
a bad name.
Thank goodness they're still making powerful dramas...

For hundreds of thousands of American armed forces, Bangor airport
in Maine is the last bit of America they see before going to Iraq and
the first place they land when they come home. A group of locals make
sure to be there to send them off and welcome them back. They show up
at all hours of the day and night, just to make sure our soldiers feel
appreciated.
