Truth is used in various senses in Scripture.
In Prov. 12:17, 19, it denotes that which is opposed to falsehood.
In Isa. 59:14, 15, Jer. 7:28, it means fidelity or truthfulness.
The doctrine of Christ is called “the truth of the gospel” (Gal. 2:5), “the truth” (2 Tim. 3:7; 4:4).
Jesus says of himself, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life.” (John 14:6).

Bottom Line:
In the film, truth is a search for the facts. But, there is a dimension of truth that is more than "just the facts." Truth can be thought of as the path you follow rather than just the true facts you utter. There is a way of truth that transcends mere facts! Truth can be the way you live. Jesus is an excellent example of this.
