Today is Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Martin Luther King Jr. and many other people alongside him spent their lives fighting for racial reconciliation and equality. In our world today, all issues of race have not simply disappeared. While strides have been made there are many steps to be taken and as Christians we should be working towards that goal of racial reconciliation, in not only the church, but in all areas of our lives.

“Christ’s blood is enough for racial reconciliation. When we have multi-ethnic churches, it screams to the world that Christ’s blood is enough and that [race] doesn’t need to be a barrier. We are united in Christ. We are the family of God. “–Trillia Newbell

Racial Reconciliation will not be achieved in one day or with one solution but we can all step in and be a part. These 8 books on our list today are all about racial reconciliation, the church, the gospel and God’s design for unity in his church.
