Recommendation: Rent/Queue it

I have to confess, I haven’t seen this movie yet. See I’m a man and I have two boys; it’s hard to get into a whole movie about Tinker Bell. The movie came in the mail and when I got home, my boys had already watched it once; they couldn’t wait to watch it again. I was intrigued so I asked my older son (8) what the movie was about, what he liked about it, and the message. This is what he said, with only slight editorializing on my part.

“This movie’s lesson is: Be proud of the talents that you have been given and don’t be jealous of someone else’s. Tinker Bell tried to be someone else in the movie, a garden fairy instead of a tinker fairy, and she ruined Spring. She fixed it later, but bad things happen when you try to be someone else.”

I thought that was pretty good. And my sons have both given this movie a big vote of confidence, by watching it several times since we received it last week. My boys highly recommend it… guess that means I have to watch.

Patrick was born in Hollywood...literally! Hollywood Community Hospital in 1970. I met Jesus and my wife, Linda, in 1989. Two relationships that I treasure to this day. We have two sons, Joshua and Jason, and a little dog named Sophie. We love Jesus together, enjoy living on the Central Coast of California and hanging with our boys and dog at the beach or a park. As far as Hollywood Jesus it's a privilege to write with real writers...since I'm not. I hope you like my reviews, which are more commentary on everything that MovesMe. I always assume you've seen the movie or TV show that I'm commenting on...so be fair warned; I'm a spoiler.
