Anytime I have made my way to a sequel of a horror movie that I loved, I immediately think of the endless, pathetic sequels of Halloween, Friday the Thirteenth, Scream, this list, of course, being neverending. So, even though I loved "Saw," I really did not have high expectations for "Saw 2", expecting the same story as "Saw," only less thrilling and more predictable. And for the most part, I was right. However, "Saw 2" does bring you back to that brink, that sick feeling of what you would do in a situation where only your pain can bring about your salvation. Moreover, "Saw 2" leads us to examine our own lives, to see if we live lives worthy of the body we have been given. —Continued on the blog
