THEIR SOO CUTE!!!
June 5, 1999. I luv the Rugrats..their soo cute!!! oh, I think its very educational and so what if they have wee wee jokes its CUTE!!!!
RUGRATS, NOT EDUCATIONAL
May 17, 1999. I hate Rugrats. Those crazies say it soooo educational but it's not! It's very rude to make those "weewee" jokes and what do you think kids are gonna start doing? When they have company or go to visit people? And saying words like "dumb" and "stupid"-- some peple might not think those words are bad but the thing is that the Rugrats always direct it toward a living breathing human. Real kids are going to start doing that, either blurting it out or even thinking about Rugrats when they say it. Another thing-- them saying words wrong like "Poopitrator" and "Hair Conditioner" is very confusing to kids who are learning to say words or speak. They might be learning a word but they keep saying it wrong so their parents are teaching them the right way... until an episode of Rugrats comes on and says the word all wrong. The kid's gonna think "Well, hey, they said it like that so I guess it's alright". Those Klasky Csupo people need to know that they can't do all this and still say their cartoon is educational. Older kids think it's cute that they do these things. I know that. But KC isn't thinking about younger kids. And they say it teaches life lessons. Since when is a child so young allowed to wander around the park on a wild chase looking for paper coupons? Is that a problem for kids these days? You have to put it more clear than that. If you want to give the child the message that episode is trying to, what it is, I don't even know, you should have put it into a REAL experience a child might have. I have alot more things to say but not now. If you wanna learn something, watch Doug-- VERY educational. That show means what it says.~par d.d.b.

SORRY NO PICTURES

REAL PERSPECTIVE ON LIFE
April 25, 1999. I would say that the Movie wasn't bad all and all. I mean, I was exspecting way worse than I got, so that was a good thing. I would say that this movie puts a real prospective of life, not just as a baby, as you are growing within the spiritual world. When there are bad guys, there is Satin. When they run into trouble, they are being tested of their will. So I would say if you look at it in that point of view, you would enjoy it.

POTTY HUMOR
It was sweet and sentimental at certain points, but I thought the potty humor was too much. For those who want a good family film (albeit not for especially young children) go see "Babe: Pig in the City." I'm not saying that potty humor can't be funny, but I think that the "Rugrats Movie" marked a cinematic first with its urine rainbow. -Nick Rogers |
