got this e-mail today from a gentleman in Iran claiming to have
seen Jesus. He wants to know where he can go to change his religion
get baptized!

Dear Father:
My name is Mohsen and I am from Iran and My religion is Islam
but i saw Jesus and believe him he invited me to him but I wanna
baptist and there is no place in Iran to do that becaouse they
kill me if they understand and I wanna (you to) lead
me and tell me where can I change my religion and Baptist
and if you are right person I swear you must help me in other
wise I doubt your faith.please tell me the nearst place in Iran.I
appreciate you for taking time to hear me.

The
letter sent chills down my spine. Is this a clever way of finding
and persecuting innocent people who follow Jesus? My reply was
forthright. I said I was suspicious. However, I told him he could
baptize himself. Just dip himself in water in the name of the
Jesus.
If
this is like other spam scams, I am not the only one to receive
it. It concerns me how others may respond to this possible spam
scam. I trust no one will provide this person/group with info
that will harm or kill other.
Be
careful. Inform others. Forward this newsletter to others. Lovers
of Jesus are the most persecuted people in the world. Thousands
upon thousands are tortured on a daily basis. Let's not assist
whose who hate and want to others for religious differences.
Jesus
said, "The thief comes to rob, kill and destroy. But, I have
come that you might have life."

us "be wise as serpents, but gentle as doves."

2. CHRISTIAN WEB SITES UNDER ATTACK.

Five
days ago I received this e-mail concerning Internet attacks on
Jesus related websites.
Hi,
I'm Dxxxxx Fe, the webmaster at xxxxx.org (the xxxxxx church
website). I'm just informing all other Christian webmasters
that our website, along with others, had been hacked yesterday
morning. We still don't know whom, or how this was done but
we've heard that there is a group of hackers attacking mainly
Christian websites.
Hey,
it's a strange world out there. If you know of any Christian webmasters
inform them to be aware. There have been numerous attacks on Hollywood
Jesus. But, so far nothing serious. Please pray. Religious harassment
and censorship are wrong.

3. THE NIGERIAN MAFIA IS DRAINING THE BANK ACCOUNTS OF U.S. CHRISTIANS

Here
is a money scam, designed to empty the bank accounts of Christians.
Have you received one like this? I am told this and variations
of it are sent out by the Nigerian Mafia on an hourly basis. Once
they con the victims bank account numbers to "deposit the
millions" they, of course, draw the victims money out.

It is a priviledge to hear from God and it gives me joy to relate
my testimony to you haven recieved instruction from God through
divine revelation.
I
was a Moslem and a retired military top officer in Nigerian
Army that served under the past military regime. I was the financial
secretary to the Armed Force Ruling Council (AFRC). With my
position as a financial secretary, I was able to divert up to
$45,000,000.00 (Forty Five million US Dollars, into my personal
Bank Account, hoping to invest the money when I’m retired.
Immediately
I got retired, I was converted from Moslem to Christian when
I was preached the words of God through my cousin Pastor Paul
Osakwe. I then gave my life to Christ and became a born again
Christain.
Since
I gave my life to Christ, I had no rest of mind. Some times
I think of the souls I killed when I was a soldier and the dubious
ways I diverted my country’s money into my Personal Bank
Account. I then decided to seek the face of God for forgiveness
and after fasting and prayer through Divine Revelation, the
Almighty God revealed to me that the only way I could have rest
of mind is when I used all my money to do the work of God. I
immediately disclosed my revelation to my Pastor and he was
happy with me.
I
have been thinking of the particular thing to do for my God
before this present civilian president of my country set up
a panel (Honourable Oputa Panel) to probe the Bank Account of
the past Military officers like me. Instead of loosing this
money to my government, I quickly withdrew my money out of my
Account and deposited the money in a finance and security company
for safety.
My
Pastor has adviced me to sneak out of the country with the money
to sow it into a ministries abroad. I have decided to sow this
money into your ministry. I am making arrangement to come over
to your country but you need to receive this money from the
finance and security company in cash before I come over.
The
cash has been packaged by the security company in consignments
and ready for shipment but the security company requires the
address of the receiver. Please send to me your names, address
and your telefax number where I can fax the Airway Bill to you
to claim the consignment over there.
I
will be coming over to your ministry with my family for thanksgiving
as soon as I sent out this money to you. Please act fast because
I dont want the panel to know that I want to leave the country,
they might suspect my intention to leave now that the probe
is going on.

Can
you believe this nonsense? Many do! Thousands have lost their
money. What disturbs me most is the free use of Christian lingo
and buzz words. These people are not ignorant.

Remark reviews: Not everyone will like this film. It's got a nice
love story, but is a tad unoriginal. It's the theme of integrity
and doing something you love at the cost of losing all material
gains that sets it apart from other sappy films. And I love hip-hop.

Remark reviews: I was talking with my mother about the film and
she mentioned something she heard a critic say that I really like:
the critic said that she went into this film expecting nothing
and she got everything. I didn’t go expecting nothing, but
this film really does have everything.

Review

editing and action in this film are wonderful. There are redemptive
values to the movie though, that are certainly worth discussion
with those who see the movie and enjoy the genus. At the top of
that list is a person’s ability to change.

Review
by Darrel Manson: This
is a film that has been garnering many awards, including Best
Asian Film at the Hong Kong Film Festival and the Golden Bear
at the Berlin International Film Festival. It is a film that has
adults going to the theater without kids. It is far more than
just a children's story.

The Truth About Charlie
David
Bruce reviews: The original 1963 movie was written by Peter Stone,
and this one is written by Peter Joshua. Actually it is the same
person with two names. Those who understand Jesus's renaming of
Peter to Stone (Rock) and the fact that Jesus is Joshua in Hebrew,
may find the choice of names interesting. And, especially so since
the lead male character's name is Joshua Peters. And, especially
so since the lead male character's name is Joshua Peters.
