We have some exciting projects coming up and would love for you to be a part of it. We’re kicking off with a summer project that involves an all-star line-up, and our desire to make a difference in the lives of children in need – Red Nose Day 2017 and “The Red Nose Day Special” on NBC, Thursday, May 25.

Red Nose Day is an annual fundraising event and a special night of television organized by Comic Relief.  It has received tremendous support from fellow Americans, celebrities and corporate partners driven to end child poverty — one “nose” at a time.  Christian organizations that receive funding and benefit from Red Nose Day include Covenant House and charity: water.

Red Nose Day 2017To help raise awareness and aid in the fundraising efforts, NBC has dedicated a special night of television programming on May 25.  Actress Julia Roberts will join adventurer and fellow Christian, Bear Grylls in Kenya for “Running Wild With Bear Grylls.”  The full line-up includes “Celebrity Ninja Warrior for Red Nose Day” at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT, the 9:00 p.m. episode of “Running Wild with Bear Grylls,” and “The Red Nose Day Special,” at 10:00 p.m. which will premiere the “Love Actually” sequel.

Below, please find a special video featuring musician Ed Sheeran and a little girl named Peaches. The video is a testament to the inner strength and hope that lies within all children – even those in challenging circumstances. Peaches lost her father during the Ebola crisis in Liberia and has been unable to go to school since his death.  She sings to honor her father’s memory and shares with Ed her desire to return to school, to become a musician, and to use her voice to sing in churches.

We’ve also included the Julia Roberts special that NBC broadcasted not too long ago as it also features her visiting a school and shelter in Phoenix.

Additional charities that benefit from Red Nose Day include Feeding America, Save The Children, and Boys and Girls Club of America.

For readers, churches, community leaders  -anyone-  who would like more information, who would like to help spread the word about Red Nose Day on Thursday, May 25 and/or to donate please visit:
