|Rock the Boat this Saturday! On Monday night, June 11, three of the top Christian pop bands got together at Universal City to stage a benefit concert for Habitat for Humanity. Called "Rock the Boat," the concert was put together by the producers of the upcoming film Evan Almighty, in which Evan Baxter (Steve Carrell) is called by God to build an ark.
Greg Wright, Managing Editor
One of the movie's themes is helping one another, and that's the spirit in which Rock the Boat was conceived. Switchfoot, DecembeRadio, and Relient K teamed up to deliver a rocking concert. Scott Roche, one of HJ's music reviewers, was on hand. See his review below.
Starting this Saturday, you too can catch the concert -- edited down to two hours for streaming broadcast, exclusively at Hollywood Jesus! It runs at 6 PM Pacific, 9 PM Eastern.
The number of feeds from the server is limited, so you'll need to sign up. But have no fear: if you don't get in Saturday, we'll be hosting the feed for around a month or so.
