steady and loyal and enduring a nature that it will last through a
whole lifetime, if not asked to lend money."
Friendship should
last a lifetime, but isn't it weird how things, like money, can divide
it? This is why poet Samuel Johnson so wisely stated that we "should
keep friendships in constant repair." Friendships, like marriages,
require work. Friendships are so worth the effort, as songwriter Thomas
Moore reminds us, "To the soul, there is hardly anything more healing
than friendship." |

Holy Terror, Batman!

I'm not opposed to creating a story that entertains, with heavy doses
of violence, etc. But is this a help or hindrance? For me, House scares and terrifies, but it doesn't remind me of the love of Christ shining through. Is that a success or not?
