Special Feature: Lord, Save Us From Your Followers Greg Wright, Managing Editor
Director Dan Merchant has created a
fine, fine documentary, one that looks deeply at the human cost of
sectarian and partisan squabbling... the band arguing, as it were, while
passengers are drowning (to borrow Titanic as a metaphor).
The Church, it seems, has come to care more for causes than for actual
people, and Merchant is here to try to get the band to start playing
music once again.
Lord, Save Us From Your Followers is an important and entertaining film from a serious man of both faith and intellect. It opened this weekend in a limited, guerilla-style indie release. See it tonight, if you can, to help keep it in theaters a little while longer!

Surrogates
Do We Need a Substitute for Life?
Yo
Surrogates is a decent sci-fi action thriller that has plenty of
potential for exploring big ideas, but in the end seems satisfied with
just being an average film that was better than I thought but not as
good as it could have been. |

The Big Bang Theory
Season Two
Jacob Sahms
The second season of Big Bang Theory
has laughs, sarcasm, science experiments, and more comic book
references than you could possibly hope for in a geek-fest comedy. Live
long and prosper, my friends, live long and prosper.
