America the Beautiful
God Blessed Us All
efrain gomez
As the lights went up, I sat there thinking about what I just saw; and
I couldn't help but think of every woman in my circle of family,
friends, acquaintances, and co-workers. Maybe it was the guilt from
knowing I'm affected by the media in how I view them.
I.O.U.S.A.
You Owe $175,000
Darrel Manson
The national debt has gone up and down all through history. I have no
doubt that we need to pay attention, but the movie didn't persuade me
that we're standing on the edge of a cliff. Still, this is an important
subject, especially in an election year.
Bangkok Dangerous
If you had a second chance...

There are some interesting spiritual values in the film that are well worth mentioning.

Son of Rambow
Creativity can Heal...
Ken Priebe
If only those quick to put the wonders of life into a legalistic,
defined box would realize the power of creativity to inspire the soul!
If only the Church could be depicted as a place that looks not only to
Scripture but also outside the box!
The Case For Faith
Good For Its Intended Audience
Mike Gunn
This movie is going to be loved by evangelical Christians and dismissed
by skeptics, and maybe even hated by those who have suffered great
loss. Then again, movies like this are needed, because they keep the
debate moving in the right direction.

Rate the Movies!
Starting this month, HJ readers can contribute to building a ratings database -- sharable with the rest of the Internet!
For all new releases, we will be including a ratings widget (like in the screenshot at right) on the movies and DVDs pages. See the movie, then leave your mini review and rating.
Here's the guide to ratings:
- Not at all spiritual
- Not very spiritual
- Spiritually aware
- Intensely spiritual
- Profoundly spiritual
So
the key is: we are not rating films on whether they're good or not;
we're rating them on their spirituality! "Pop culture from a spiritual
point of view..."
