I like what Dwayne Johnson said about his taxi cab driver character:
"Jack Bruno is a guy who has struggled to stay on the right path in
life for some time. ... But once these extraordinarily
gifted kids step into his cab, he gets an opportunity to do something
that is really, really special. And that is the opportunity to save the
world!"
An incredible journey begins! This
film is like a roller-coaster Disneyland ride.
Although your life's
journey need not be so topsy turvy, it is important to allow yourself
to enter into it. The Apostle Paul
said to entertain strangers, because they just might be angels unaware.
Good advice. Entertain strangers and entertain new directions, as you
are entertained by this film!
Jack had a shot at redemption. He took it. And so can any of uz!

Sunshine Cleaning
More than Just Bleach
Elisabeth Leitch
As Nora says after her first day on the job, "We took all the stuff
away and we made it better, we made it right." But in a world where all
the bad things cannot be washed away in an afternoon, making things
right is being there for the long haul. Also Reviewed...

Nobel Son
Sins Of The Father
Jacob Sahms
Nobel Son
combines action, drama, and black comedy to make for a delightful lark
and morality tale. The film proves, like the Gospel, that we have a
free will, and it's up to us what choices we make. Will we use our
opportunities for good? |

Featured Interview Michael Landon, Jr.
by Andrew McDiarmid
Michael Landon Jr., son of well-remembered actor and director Michael Landon, is director and producer of The Velveteen Rabbit, an inspired cinematic telling of the treasured children's story featuring a combination of live action and animation.
I think most of what I learned was through osmosis. I spent a lot of
time on the sets, and because my dad wore many hats, I was able to see him
both in front and behind the camera. I learned how a set operated-a
general idea of what each department did to make a film. Because of
this experience, from an early age, I knew I wanted to direct, so that
was my focus.

10 Celebs Who'd Give Christianity A Good Name
Gandhi once famously quipped, "I like your Christ, I do not like your
Christians. Your Christians are so unlike your Christ." Sadly, when
people talk about Christians they think of hypocrites, and hate.
At
HJ, we'd like to see that change a bit. With a wink or two, here is our list of celebrities
who ought to be on God's Team... and maybe already are! |
