SUMMARY
The comic drama "Martian Child" stars John Cusack as a recently widowed science fiction writer who adopts a young boy that claims to be from Mars. But the new father ignores some sage advice about the perils of parenthood from his sister and gets more than he bargained for when a series of strange occurences lead him to believe the child's claim may be true.

REEL PEOPLE REVIEW
I really liked this film and so did the preview group I showed the film to. In fact, the folks at Set Free Christian Fellowship could not stop talking about it. I have shown made-for-Christians films to them, and generally they just don’t like them. But this one, which was not just made-for-Christians, was different. They loved it. It just goes to show, nothing takes the place of a well-written, well-acted, well-produced film.

Here is a film that everyone can enjoy. Here is a film with real heart. Here is a film that expresses the most important value of all, and that is: a good caring relation.

I highly recommend this film for group viewing. In fact, I personally guarantee that you will have a lively conversation following the film. Here is a film that is not just good, it is important.
