Day 13

Hi Everyone:
We were 30,000 feet above the Atlantic again today aboard the Pan Con flight to London. Yesterday we shot the action in the first class cabin, today we were in the economy section. It looks really, really good.

Tomorrow we are in the cockpit and we are also going back to New Hope church to pick up the shots that we missed because of the storm last Friday. On Saturday we are in an Israeli desert – but the problem is that is it currently under several feet of water – hardly a convincing desert. So tonight we ordered seven septic tank emptying trucks to go pump the water away! Sounds crazy and costs a ridiculous amount but those guys will take truckload after truckload of water away for the next 24 hours. The forecast is good so we should be OK!

Saturday night will be cool because we are planning to blow lots of stuff up. Paul and I can’t wait for that. After that we break for three days because this is the May long weekend here in Canada. We’re back at it again Wednesday. Tomorrow is the last day for Rayford, Chloe and Bruce. It seems they’ve just started and we’ve made such good friendships it is hard to see them go. But, soon we’ll get to make the acquaintance of Nicolae, Stonagal and Todd-Cothran. And no, we still haven’t finalized a deal for Nicolae. We want to make sure to get everything just right so we are being very precise in what we are doing.

I also want to thank those of you who have been praying for me, I think I’m turning the corner. I slept through the night fully last night and I am one gung-ho producer again! We had reporters here today from several publications including Charisma and Entertainment Weekly.

As I write this it is 10pm and we running a little late again, but the shots look so good I have approved the overtime. We should be done by midnight. The challenge is that when you are shooting on location you have to get everything before you leave because you won’t be there again. Our planning has been quite good but this is a very big and very complicated shoot. I am really impressed with our crew and the actors. Everyone is giving 110% and I appreciate it.
