| ON FEAR
Fear is a question: What are you afraid of, and why? Just as the seed of health is in illness, because illness contains information, your fears are a treasure house of self-knowledge if you explore them.
--Marilyn Ferguson
None but a coward dares to boast that he has never known fear.
--Ferdinand Foch (1851 - 1929)
You see what power is - holding someone else's fear in your hand and showing it to them!
--Amy Tan (1952 - )
Change has a considerable psychological impact on the human mind. To the fearful it is threatening because it means that things may get worse. To the hopeful it is encouraging because things may get better. To the confident it is inspiring because the challenge exists to make things better.

ON FEAR
Leviticus 26:36-37 (NLT)
"And for those of you who survive, I will demoralize you in the land of your enemies far away. You will live there in such constant fear that the sound of a leaf driven by the wind will send you fleeing. You will run as though chased by a warrior with a sword, and you will fall even when no one is pursuing you. [37] Yes, though no one is chasing you, you will stumble over each other in flight, as though fleeing in battle. You will have no power to stand before your enemies.
Proverbs 28:1 (NLT)
The wicked run away when no one is chasing them, but the godly are as bold as lions.
Proverbs 29:25 (NLT)
Fearing people is a dangerous trap, but to trust the Lord means safety.
Isaiah 51:12-13 (NLT)
"I, even I, am the one who comforts you. So why are you afraid of mere humans, who wither like the grass and disappear? Yet you have forgotten the Lord, your Creator, the one who put the stars in the sky and established the earth. Will you remain in constant dread of human oppression? Will you continue to fear the anger of your enemies from morning till night?
