Here are the differences between CBS and International versions of "Jesus".
The International version is 20 minutes longer and is more complete than the CBS version.
However, there is a couple of scenes that were not in the International cut.
A simple grid follows: |
Sequence |
CBS version |
International version |
| First sequence: Jesus? dream (Crusades, the stake and WW I) |
Sound, music and shadowing effects suggest that the viewer is seeing actually a dream. The woman on the stake appears just here. |
First sequence: Jesus? dream (Crusades, the stake and WW I) Sound, music and shadowing effects suggest that the viewer is seeing actually a dream. The woman on the stake appears just here. Sounds and images suggest that what you see it?s real. Only when you see the face of Jesus you can understand that it was a dream (or a vision). There is no woman on the stake. |
