Looking Forward to April It's More than Just Grand Theft Auto! Yo Snyder, HJ Playbox Editor
Looking at some of the upcoming releases this
month, it'd be easy to mistake April for October or November. Some of
the year's biggest titles are releasing this month; and I can't really
think of the last time Spring releases were this huge. Just another
sign of change in the booming gaming industry; they no longer save all
their home runs for late in the season.
Easily the biggest game releasing in the month of April is Grand Theft Auto IV.
Not only is it sure to sell millions of copies, but it's also sure to
generate plenty of controversy as the harbinger of doom and destruction
to the moral fabric of our society (although that seems pretty much
doomed due to our own efforts; I don't think a videogame will change it
that much).Click through for more about Grand Theft Auto IV, Mario Kart, Grand Turismo, and more.

Rainbow Six Vegas 2
It's More Of The Same
Yo | 04/05/08 | Reviews | Click to Comment As with so many things in life, the second
time around isn't quite as much fun as the first time. It's all just a
little too much the same. Still, I'm sure plenty of would-be heroes are
going to be willing to return to Sin City a second time to save it from
terrorists.
Super Smash Bros. Brawl
More Of The Same But Better
Yo | 03/31/08 | Reviews | Click to Comment Super Smash Bros. Brawl has been one of the
most hotly anticipated titles to release on the Wii so far. Has it
lived up to the hype? Is it everything we hoped it would be? Has
Nintendo proven they got this online thing figured out? Read on to find
out.
Battlefield: Bad Company
First Impressions Of The Multi-Player Beta
Yo | 03/26/08 | Previews | Click to Comment Battlefield: Bad Company looks like it's
going to be yet another top-quality shooter for Xbox 360 owners. My
recent romp through the online multi-player beta showed off a beautiful
and destructible battlefield and that I'm really not cut-out for war.
Mass Effect
New Downloadable Content Available; Is It Worth It?
Yo | 03/12/08 | Reviews | Click to Comment The first of regularly planned additions
for Mass Effect through downloadable content is now available. If you
didn't get enough of the adventures of Commander Shepard and the crew
of the Normandy, now you can enjoy another "episode" in the Mass Effect
odyssey; but is it worth the price of admission. You're about to find
out.
Frontlines: Fuel Of War
Too Many Missed Opportunities
Yo | 03/10/08 | Reviews | Click to Comment The first person shooter genre is a crowded
one, especially on the Xbox 360. Frontlines: Fuel of War has a lot of
things going for it to help set it apart from the crowd. Unfortunately,
the true shining potential of this game isn't fully realized. Click to
get all the details.
