We’re excited to announce CNN’s second season of Finding Jesus: Faith, Fact, Forgery. The hit series which premiered last year captivated our faith community as well-known pastors, theologians, and scholars, examined famous religious artifacts and brought to life the places and people from the Bible touched by Jesus and the Gospel.

Season 2 will explore the following:

  • The Childhood Home of Jesus
  • The Tomb of King Herod
  • The Bones of St. Peter
  • Relics Believed To Shed Truth About Doubting Thomas
  • The Pilate Stone
  • The Tomb of Lazarus

With Lent and Easter around the corner, Finding Jesus: Faith, Fact, Forgery, gives viewers a great opportunity to relive Jesus’ journey throughout the ancient world, the impact of his ministry, early church history, and why our faith is more meaningful than ever in our modern day world.

In its freshman season, Finding Jesus ranked #1 across cable news in its time period among total viewers. Utilizing the latest state-of-the-art scientific techniques and archaeological research, the series will explore the following:

o The Childhood Home of Jesus

o The Tomb of King Herod

o The Bones of St. Peter

o Relics Believed To Shed Truth About Doubting Thomas

o The Pilate Stone

o The Tomb of Lazarus

 

A first class panel of on-screen contributors from the world’s best universities including Yale, Harvard, Princeton and Oxford will provide expert comment.  The series will also feature insights from some of the world’s leading religious theologians and Christian leaders such as:

o Rev. A.R. Bernard (Christian Cultural Centre, New York)

o Father James Martin, SJ (Author, Jesus: A Pilgrimage)

The series premieres in time for Lent and Easter to give the audience an opportunity for meaningful discussions related to Jesus’ journey throughout the ancient world, the impact of his ministry, early church history, and why our faith is more meaningful than ever in our modern day world.

 

Finding Jesus: Faith, Fact, Forgery premieres Sunday, March 5 at 9 PM ET/PT.
