Victorious is a Nickelodeon teen/musical-style show starring Victoria Justice as Tori Vega, a teenager who attends a performing arts school. The show also features her friends and sister. All of them attend the school as well. The show follows their lives and what they go through, mainly Tori.

Victoria Justice is a beautiful girl and is a great singer. I rather enjoyed the songs "Freak the Freak Out" and "My Best Friend's Boyfriend." She carries the show very well. I also like how they deal with issues that teens go through without getting too PG-13. Like when Tori was dating a "player." That all played out very well.

I will admit, the humor is a little corny. For instance, the character Robbie Shapiro (Matt Bennett) has a dummy that he talks to and he also has him talk to other characters in the show. This would be a good gag for one episode, but having this dummy pan out as a real character gets a little old. My advice to the writers is to not be afraid to be a little sharper with the humor. Teens will get it.

Although the show isn't as strong as iCarly, it seems to have found an audience... and that's a good thing, because the show does what it sets out to do, which is make you care about the characters while having fun.
