Ratatouille (pronounced "rat-a-too-ee", as pointed out in the trailer) is the eighth animated feature film produced by Pixar. It is scheduled for release on June 29, 2007.

Continuing a Pixar tradition, the first trailer for Ratatouille debuted with the theatrical release of Cars, its immediate predecessor.

The film is directed by Brad Bird, who previously directed the 2004 Pixar film The Incredibles. He replaces the film's previous director Jan Pinkava, previously of the 1997 Pixar short film Geri's Game. According to current information on IMDb, Jan Pinkava, not Bob Peterson is co-directing the film. The screenwriters are Emily Cook and Kathy Greenberg, both making their feature film debuts, with Jan Pinkava. The film's score is composed by Michael Giacchino known for works in movies such as The Incredibles and Mission Impossible III; TV series such as Lost and Alias; and PC games such as Medal of Honor and Call of Duty.

Apart from Oswalt [2] and Garrett, the cast is unclear. However, in an interview with ComingSoon.net, Pixar regular John Ratzenberger noted that he would more than likely supply a voice for the film.
