Hits Deep Live is a sight and sounds spectacular! TobyMac brings it in this full live album and concert video featuring 16 songs filmed at his Louisiana show. The show is high-energy and fully engaging even though you are watching it through a screen.  I attended the Hits Deep tour when it visited MI last year, and the Live experience video caught the vibrancy of the show perfectly. With a variety of musical styles on display in this exciting hour-long concert experience, you are left wanting more when it ends.

DiverseCity Band accompanies TobyMac on stage for Hits Deep Live. Their background vocals,  instrumental giftedness, and stage presence harmonize with TobyMac in an indescribable way.

Other artists featured on the CD/DVD are Brit Nicole joining in for Eye On It and Colton Dixon singing and accompanying on the piano for Undeniable. Hollyn also showed off her vocal abilities joining Toby on Backseat Driver and Lights Shine Bright. Through the use of video on the large screen, former DC Talk members Kevin Max and Michael Tait were featured in the song, Love Feels Like.

The spotlights and laser lights increased the intensity on a few songs like the opening song Till the Day I Die and later on during Eye On It. The audience lit up the darkness with their cell phone flashlights for Lights Shine Bright. One aspect of the concert that I feel was a strong connecting point for the concert was the catwalk that went from the main stage into the middle of the audience.  Toby engaged with the audience, getting out there in the midst of them for Speak Life and Steal My Show.  Toby and several members of the band marched in sync on the catwalk while singing, Move, and it was a profound visual of the lyrics

The concert CD/DVD concluded with an exhilarating performance of Me Without You. As the song came to a close, the stage filled with kids and confetti rained down over the audience.

TobyMac’s 2016 “HITS DEEP Tour” visited arenas nationwide, including stops at Los Angeles’ The Forum, Charlotte’s Time Warner Cable Arena, Phoenix’s Talking Stick Resort Arena, San Diego’s Viejas Arena, Portland’s Moda Center, Seattle’s KeyArena, Denver’s Coliseum and Kansas City’s Sprint Center, which garnered 12,229 ticketed attendees alone. According to Pollstar, the 2016 “HITS DEEP Tour” was the biggest tour in Christian music and ranked in the top 35 tours in the world. {Press Release}
