“What happens when we stop worrying about a challenging world full of difficult people and instead simply love everybody? In the highly-anticipated follow-up to the bestselling phenomenon Love Does, Bob Goff takes readers on an entertaining, life-altering journey into the secret of living without fear, care, constraint, or worry.” [source:]

Bob Goff released his widely popular book, Love Does, in 2012 and quickly became a best-selling author and champion for loving the people around you. His latest book, Everybody Always, released on April 17, 2018. In the same humorous story-telling style as his first book, Bob takes readers on a journey towards loving people…everybody, always.

I could not wait to get my hands on this book and let me say, it just did not disappoint. In fact, this book exceeded what I could have hoped it to be. My pen worked overtime as I underlined quotes and things that encouraged and challenged me. I walked away with hope for a world filled with a lot more love and in turn a lot more of Jesus. I also walked away convicted and ready to do my part in loving the people around me better.

Bob is a great storyteller and the stories he shares in this book are wonderful. They are emotional and genuine but also hilarious and light-hearted. I honestly can’t recall a time that a book has caused me to laugh out loud as I read, but Everybody Always had me smiling and laughing more than once.

This book is a convicting and challenging read but it isn’t heavy or difficult to digest. I couldn’t put this book down. Page after page I just found myself wanting more of the stories and more of the examples what loving people can look like. From beginning to end this book will leave you wanting more.

In a world full of disagreements, hatred, anger, and bitterness this book couldn’t come at a better time. Bob challenges readers to stop worrying so much about the how, and to just get out there and love people. It is so simple and so needed and I’m thankful for the message this book will send to the people reading it.

“We also don’t need to make faith easier, because it’s not; we need to make it simpler, because it is.”

The more we love people like Jesus did, the more Jesus people will see in our world. This is the theme throughout this book and it is a simple but needed reminder. Go get this book, pass it out to your friends and to even the people you find hard to love. Everybody could use this book (and an extra dose of love) in their lives.

You can purchase Everybody Always on and wherever books are sold.
