	With a shadowy Gestapo agent in the background, Judge Manfred Roeder holds out a stack of official-looking papers. The Nazi Judge (Robert Joy) seems to take personal pleasure in handing Dietrich Bonhoeffer an order to cease his denunciations of the Nazi regime and to do no preaching, publishing or teaching without prior governmental approval."	How could a Christian nation be taken over by Hitler?
	Dietrich Bonhoeffer receives papers from General Hans Oster and Bonhoeffer's friend, Hans von Dohnanyi, in a German club. In accepting these papers from the General (Christian Doermer), center, Bonhoeffer, left, reluctantly accepts his new wartime mission -- acting as courier for the Nazi resistance. Von Dohnanyi (Ulrich Noethen) looks on."
	Bonhoeffer typing in his study, with the rays of the sun slanting in on him. Under the threat of exposure as a member of the Nazi resistance, and suffering regret for his lies, Dietrich Bonhoeffer falsifies documents about his involvement.
	Bonhoeffer and Maria von Wedemeyer clasping hands in a shaded glen. Bonhoeffer proposes to Maria (Johanna Klante) who becomes his sustenance during his imprisonment by the Nazis.
BONHOEFFER SAID:	"IT IS BETTER FOR A LOVER OF TRUTH TO LIE, THAN FOR A LIAR TO TELL THE TRUTH."	Do you agree?
BONHOEFFER SAID:	"BEING EVIL IS WORSE THAN DOING EVIL."	Do you agree?
WHAT BONHOEFFER DID	HE LIED TO THE NAZIS TO SAVE JEWISH PEOPLE.	Would you do the same?
WHAT BONHOEFFER DID	HE OPPOSED HIS OWN CHURCH IN THEIR SUPPORT OF HITLER.	Would you do the same? What about respect for authority?
WHAT BONHOEFFER DID	HE WAS PART OF A CONSPIRACY TO ASSASSINATE HITLER.	Would you do the same? Is this moral or ethical?
WHAT BONHOEFFER DID	THE LAW (GOVERNMENT) SAID HE COULD NOT TEACH THE BIBLE OR PREACH. HE DISOBEYED THE LAW.	Would you do the same? Is it right to disobey the law?
