Dear Diary,

What an eventful weekend it was. First off, I don’t know if I mentioned this, but there was a meteor shower on Saturday night. What fun it was to see dozens of shooting stars streaking across the sky. Then, on Sunday it was flea market day. Now, this is the first time I’ve ever experienced this, so I wasn’t exactly sure what was going to happen. Well, what happened was I ended up with almost zero furniture. My neighbors invaded my house and bought just about everything I had. That’s not necessarily a bad thing because I did make a good amount of bells, but now I have no where to sit. Ah well, I guess I’ll just have to keep a vigilant eye on Nook n Go for that perfect sofa (especially since the sofa and Gracie Grace’s in the city is astronomically expensive). On the flip side, however, I did swindle my neighbor Buck out of a nice fireplace. I think it’ll add the perfect ambiance for the holidays, so I’m very excited about it’s addition to my home.

I must admit, diary, that I’ve already grown tired of travelling to the City; there just isn’t much there to do. Aside from going to Shampoodle’s to occasionally change my hair (which after the last fiasco, I can’t say I’ll be doing very often) and taking in a show every now and then (which is fairly expensive), there just aren’t a lot of compelling reasons to continually go to the City. I am rather diappointed about this because I was really hoping that the city life would add a whole new dimension to my life in Bat-Cave, but that just isn’t the case. Oh well, I have plenty to do here in town. Rod finally recovered from his cold and gave me a shway blue clock for my house as thanks, and I got to play hide and seek again and won again (I’m the town champ). Also, I hear rumors that there will be a very special guest this Thursday hiding in town; I can’t wait to find out who it is. That’s all for today diary; more adventures to come though.
