I have always had a deep and abiding interest in both Jesus and film. I have an immense library of books on theology, popular culture, film and thousands of videos. I love to go to church and film festivals. For me they are both spiritual experiences.
This continuing interested in culture and Jesus led to the creation of Hollywood Jesus in 1997!
I am a graduate of North Park University/Seminary (M.Div degree 1988) in Chicago and have pastored several wonderful churches. Currently I am providing consulting to several emerging multimedia churches.
For a number of years, I was involved in production and administration for NBC-TV, and even managed KRML radio station in Carmel California. I have published several magazines including Mystery Magazine, rock music rags, and various Christian magazines.
During my ten years in Chicago I helped establish and manage the low income housing facility, the Jubilee House, and established two transitional facilities, The WellSpring and The Leland House, for homeless and abused women with children.

In 1997 I began Hollywood Jesus from California and in Dec of 2000 I moved to Oregon where I now operate Hollywood Jesus, and travel from time to time to speak.
Beginning in 2001 I launched Hollywood Insight movie review television show which won the 2003 Entertainment Show of the Year at the CAT awards. Production on my second television program, Music Jam, began in 2003, which was awared "Music Entertainment Show of the Year" in 2005.
My latest web site is Christ in Culture (christinculture.com) which is under development. Its purpose is to be a resource for connecting with pre-Christians (the ones God loves very much) in our ever changing culture. It will specialize in cultural awareness, history and direction. It will provide multimedia and creative resources.
