Subject: Cain: Bruce Willis as Soloman WOWWWW!!!

I'm 34 yrs old and a HUGE Huggins fan. Loved "The Reckoning" and "Leviathon". Almost finished with "Cain", and I think it's one of the best books I've ever read, and that list is pretty big. I was thinking what a Great movie this book would make, so figured I'd do a little search and found this website. I pray this book becomes a movie, and more importantly, a movie that holds the hope and faith in God the book holds. I'll be checking this site quite regularly now, I can't wait.

Huggins' books are outstanding. I've been searching every corner of the Internet to find a site that has any information on the filming of Cain (cast? release date?) or any information on his next upcoming book. Can you help me out here?

I have been a huge fan of Huggins for some time and have of course read all of his books. However, news of a Bruce Willis movie worries me. Will a Hollywood script really live up to the book? Look at what they did to John Steakley's "Vampire$". I hope for the best, but have to expect the worst.

Since working with the publishing company that published Huggins' original books, A Wolf Story and The Reckoning, I've been a tremendous fan of his. The man is majorly talented and has such a wonderful imagination. Reading his stories is like seeing a film running inside your head. All I can say is, "Byron....where's the movie!!!???"

I'm looking forward to this movie. I have read all James Byron Huggins books so far. When I was reading The Reckoning I thought it would make an awsome movie. Also his book Leviathan is great movie material. Just reading his books is like being to a movie though the writing is so vivid.

BRUCE WILLIS SAVES THE WORLD ONCE AGAIN
Date: Sat, 11 Dec 1999
From: "Marjolaine Bourget"
I haven't read the book and I had never heard of this movie. But being a Bruce Willis fan, I will most probably go see this movie if he plays in it. It looks like a good movie to me, even though there is, AGAIN, a normal guy saving the world. But about that, I like it better when it is a normal human being that saves the world like in Armageddon or The Fifth element than when it is a super-hero like Batman or Superman. At least, we can identify to normal human beings.

I read the book, and it was incredible! In fact, I'm rereading it now, and I didn't know Bruce was thinking of making a movie. To say the least, I can't wait! --Mike |
